ELO Greatest Hits is a compilation album by the British rock band Electric Light Orchestra (ELO), released in 1979. The album features their biggest and most popular hits from their early years, including "Living Thing," "Telephone Line," and "Mr. Blue Sky." It also includes their first hit single, "10538 Overture," which was not featured on their earlier compilation album.
The album was a commercial success, reaching No. 2 on the UK Albums Chart and No. 8 on the US Billboard 200 chart. It has since been certified double platinum in the US and platinum in the UK.
The album was criticized by some for excluding some of ELO's lesser-known but critically acclaimed songs, but it remains one of their most popular albums and a gateway for new fans to their music.
